我們有「聖體」（彌撒、領聖體、恭拜聖體）；我們也有「福音」。在福音裡，有耶穌全部的道理，也指明了祂的道路。
「福音和聖保祿書信」，是我們特別重視的書。如果我們讀過一次，而再讀一次，就更能明白基督的教訓。
認識基督的生平言行。不過，這並不是把它當作歷史，或只當作傳記來看；卻要透過這些歷史事蹟，深入探討奇蹟和教誨的含義；要靜觀並明瞭耶穌的精神、宗旨、態度和用意等……
這樣，妳們將日益覺得自己是聖保祿的孝女，因為妳們也有像聖保祿那樣的趨向，那樣的精神。聖保祿說：「我只願認識基督和祂復活的德能，參與祂的苦難，相似地……」（斐三10）
在「禮儀年」中，耶穌的德行──在我們面前經過，鼓勵我們效法。教會藉著這部可以稱為聖神之書的禮儀，繼續耶穌基督的工作：「你們要去使萬民成為我的門徒……教訓他們，遵守我所吩咐你們的一切。」（瑪廿八19─20）
鼓勵我們效法導師耶穌的，有以下幾種有用的方法：
──研究天主的學問（神學），認識聖經、倫理學、神修學、神秘神修學、修會生活。每年深入研究一個論題。
──從每月的退省和每年的避靜，提取這樣的成果：毀滅舊人，而代以在耶穌基督內的新人。師法耶穌基督，不僅是在那些屬於誡命的事上，就是關於福音勸諭方面，也努力效法祂。
──恭敬宗徒之后聖母瑪利亞。她是一位最完美的弟子，也是一位最完美的使徒。
──保存我們特有的身份。本會是一個從事教導工作的修會。它的宗旨是將基督帶給世界；就是把祂的道理、祂的倫理，以及恭敬祂的敬禮，帶給世界。
我們提議，將「每月首主日獻給導師」。這個敬禮來自上主的聖意。關於這件事，我們現有耳目和觸覺所能感到的有形跡象。
在收到這封信之後，請各位司鐸、各位已發願的會士和修女，願意接受導師耶穌所提出的這個最誠懇的要求，而且在可能時，立刻開始實行。
關於方式：在本質上，這是恭敬導師耶穌、道路、真理和生命，並全意、全志和全心地與祂結合。如果在這一天上舉行每月的退省，就最好了；否則應有福音講解、大體彌撒、一小時的恭拜聖體，藉以檢討一月的生活和所定的善志。
